drawing for yourselfits been almost 2 years of drawing for others and I am sick of it. I also am tired of gearing my work towards the trends of Marvel. Editors are always saying for me tweak it this way or tweak it that way or draw like this person or draw like that and you end up losing yourself in the process. I am just tired of conforming and instead I am going to say fuck it and draw how I want to. I was never built for the big two anyway. I have 3 more projects to finish and then i'm going to paint on canvas and work on my creator owned thing with CB.

Time to have fun with your craft!!!
I hate to hear that editors are having artists tweak their stuff to make it more "marketable". It's a fuckin' travesty IMO.
What kinds of things are they asking you to tweak?
I used to have a dream about working for the big two, or some other prominent publisher, but, I feel my style and aesthetic wouldn't fit into any of those.
So I came up with a new dream. I too, said, fuck it, and decided just to make comics for myself. If they are successful, fine. If not, well I still was able to contribute to a medium I so dearly love and I did it on my own terms. Something no one can take away from me.
